Ek Panachi Tandla Bhakri | Rice Bhakri on Banana Leaf | Konkani Recipe

Ingredients:

* Rice Flour 1 cup
* Grated coconut 1 cup
* Butter 1 tea spoon
* Sugar 1 tea spoon
* Salt as per taste
* Ghee

Preparation:

* In a bowl add butter and sugar, mix both till butter melts
* Now add grated coconut and salt
* Add rice flour and water and mix.
* Make thick batter which should be easily spreadable on leaf.
* Take a clean banana leaf.
* Spread Half of the batter evenly on the leaf.
* Heat tava and place this leaf on it
* Cover and cook for 2 minutes on low gas flame.
* Befor turning bhakri apply generous amount of ghee on open side.
* Now turn the bhakri, remove leaf and apply ghee on another side too.
* Turn gas flame to high and cook it crispy from both sides.

Special Tips:

*Milk can be used insted of water while preparing batter. It will make bhakri soft from inside and crispy from outside.
