Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Sooji/ Rava
- 1/2 Cup grated coconut
- 1/2 tea spoon sugar
- 7-8 curry leaves
- Salt as per taste
- Ghee/Oil
Preparation:
* Soak 1 cup sooji/rava for 15 Minutes. After 15 minutes, in mixi jar add 1 cup grated coconut, 7-8 curry leaves, 1/2 tea spoon sugar, little water and grind into fine paste.
* Add the soaked rava in this paste and grind it again to fine dosa batter. Add little salt as per taste.
* Add water to adjust the consistency. The batter should not be too runny or too thick.
* Add little oil/ghee on hot tawa and pour the dosa batter evenly and add some oil/ghee on top. Keep it thick or thin depending on your choice.
* Wait for 3-4 minutes on one side and then flip once it turns golden brown in colour. Server it hot with ghee and chutney powder/pudi.
Special Tips:
You can use the soaked water only to grind the dosa batter.
