Ingredients:
* Jackfruit pods 1 cup
* Grated coconut 1 cup
* Kesari rava or big rava 1 and 1/2 cup
* Jaggery 1/2 cup
* Cardamom powder 1 tea spoon
* Pinch of Salt
* Ghee 2 table spoon
Preparation:
* Grind jackfruit pods into smooth paste. Add it into a big mixing bowl
* In the same bowl add all the above remaining items.
* combine everything.
* Add water if needed.
* As the sooji/Rava will soak all the moisture batter should not be very thick.
* Cover and keep for 15 minutes.
* After 15 minutes grease a cake tin with ghee.
* Pour the prepared batter.
* pre heat the salt as shown in the video.
* Bake the cake for 20- 30 minutes ( until sides turn to light brown)
* After 25 minutes put a knife in the center of the cake and if nothing sticks cake is ready.
* Switch off the flame and allow the cake to cool in the container for about 2 hours.
* after 2 hours cake can be easily removed.
* serve this cake with ghee.
Special Tips:
*If we use raw mango the taste of the curry is very good, instead of tamarind.
