Ingredients:
For Ushli
---------
White peas -200 gm
Grated coconut -1 cup
Jaggery- 2 tea spoon
green chillies- 3
Oil 2 tea spoon
Mustard seeds- 1 tea spoon
pepper powder- 1 tea spoon
some curry leaves
pinch of asafoetida
Turmeric powder 1/4 tea spoon
For Poha/Phov

grated coconut-1/2 cup
Poha masala 1 tea spoon
Jaggery- 2 tea spoon
pinch of salt
Flattened rice 2 small cups
Preparation:
* Wash and soak peas overnight (or 8 hours)
* After 8 hours pressure cook the soaked peas for 4-5 whiste on low flame(add salt while cooking).
* Heat oil in a pan.
* add in mustard seeds, reen chillies, curry leaves and turmeric powder for tempering.
* Now add cooked peas along with water, jaggery powder,pepper powder and coconut.
* Mix well and ushli is ready.
* For poha/phov in a bowl add coconut, poha masala,jaggery and pinch of salt and very little water.
* Mix all well and add flattened rice. combine everything.
* finally garnish with some coriander leaves.Poha is ready.
* For Misal, serve vatana ushli and phov with sev (kare).
