Ingredients:
* Sugarcane juice 1/2
* Raw Rice(Dosa Rice) 1 cup
* Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tea spoon
* Turmeric powder 1/2 tea spoon
* Thick Poha 1 fistful
* Fresh coconut 1/2 cup
* Salt to taste
* Jaggery 1/4 cup
* Cashew nuts 1/4 cup
* cardamom cloves 5-6
* Ghee or oil for frying
Preparation:
* Wash the rice and add fenugreek seeds and Turmeric powder
* Soak rice in the sugarcane juice
* Soak thick poha in water.
* Soak both in different bowl for 4 hours
* After 4 hours add soaked rice, soaked poha, grated coconut in a mixi jaar.
* Grind into fine thick paste. Do not add more water or juice while grinding.
* Keep this batter for fermentation for 8 hours.
* After 8 hours add jaggery , salt, cashew nuts to the fermented batter and give a good mix.
* Heat ghee or oil in an appe pan.
* pour batter in all the molds and fry on low flame.
* Fry these appe till they become golden from both the sides.
Special Tips:
*If There is no time for fermentation add cooking soda and prepare appe immediately
* Fresh peanuts can be used instead of cashews.
