Taka Kadi [Butter Milk Kadi]


- Butter Milk 2-3 Cups, Grated coconut 1 cup, Salt as per taste, Curry leaves 5-6, Green Chillies 4-5, Pinch of Asafoetida/Hing, 1 table spoon Oil, Red chilli 1-2, 1 Table spoon Mustard Seeds


* For masala add grated coconut, curry leaves, green chillies, salt and asafoetida in a mixi jar.
* Grind into fine paste with little water.
* Now masala is ready, put this in a bowl and add the butter milk and mix well.
* For seasoning heat some oil in a pan and put mustard seeds and red chillies.
* Now add this seasoning into the bowl and mix well.

* Goes well with Rice and Pickle.
