Shevto Fish Fry [Mullet Fish Fry]


- Green Chillies 6-8, Coriander leaves, Garlic cloves 8-10, Ginger big piece, Salt as per taste (we have used rock salt), 1/2 lemon juice, 2-3 table spoon red chilli powder, 1/2 table spoon turmeric powder, 3-4 table spoon rava, 2 table spoon rice flour.


* First we need to prepare green masala paste. Put green chillies, coriander leaves, garlic cloves, ginger, salt in a mixi jar and prepare a fine paste.
* Now add the lemon juice to this green masala and mix well.
* Now marinate the fish pieces with this paste, turmeric powder and chilli powder and keep it for 10 minutes.
* Now mix the rava and rice flour. Now coat the marinated fish pieces with this mixture and fry on a tawa with some oil and shallow fry it.
* Fry the fish on both sides and fry it till it turns golden brown.

Special Tips:

* Put bit more salt while preparing the green masala so that no need to put salt to the fish during marination.
